If you are looking for guidance around what gear to buy for your player or how equipment should fit, this site has some good information.
Sharpened skates make a big difference in a player's on ice performance. Don't forget to sharpen your player's skates throughout the season.
General rule of thumb: Sharpen after approximately 15 hours of skate time.
If you are uncertain if your player's skates need to be sharpened, talk with your coach.
NOTE: New skates do not come sharpened.
