SPRING HOCKEY is BACK! We will be hosting a Hogs Spring hockey season beginning in mid-April. Sessions will be either Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning. We will have 7 sessions essentially running every weekend except Memorial Day and ending on June 6th just before schools on traditional calendars let out for the summer. The cost is $120. Spring hockey consists of mainly scrimmages with other Hogs players of similar age and skill. It's a way to provide some ice time for our players without too much commitment from our parents. REGISTER TODAY.
Sports International Hockey Academy (SIHA) Summer Camp is coming back to Hillsborough!
SIHA Summer camp in June is now sold out, but we may have an opportunity to expand the camp and allow more registered players. If interested, please contact Tom Deis at email@example.com this week.
Quick update on the Winter 2021 Hillsborough Hogs season:
With a small budget surplus, we are extending our winter season by one session per group. Our Winter season will extend into the first full week of April. We're finalizing our April schedule with Sportsplex and will publish in Sport Engine soon.
The second half of our 2020-21 season will be from Feb 1 through early April. There will not be any sessions during Easter weekend. Schedules will be different for different groups, but sessions will typically be twice per week. Registration is now closed.
Groups will contain approximately 12 players. We'll have 2 groups on the ice at a time. Each group will enter/exit the ice from different doors and have separate locker room assignments. While locker rooms are available, we encourage all players to arrive and exit with most of their hockey gear on. For younger players needing help with skates and other gear, please assist your player at benches or bleachers around the rink so we're spaced out accordingly. We also ask that only one parent per player enter Sportsplex to minimize crowds. The coaches of each group will provide more specific instructions. Please review all procedures with your player to help us have a fun and safe hockey season.
Thank you for your continued support during these crazy times. Please look around our website for additional information and as always, please contact one of the board members below with specific questions.
